January 26, 2008:
Dave DeWitt will be the guest on the 12noon News on KOB-TV, TV-4) in Albuquerque. Steve Stucker is the host.

January 30, 2008:
Dave DeWitt will be doing a talk and book signing for Avenging Victorio at OASIS, (a national organization designed to enhance the quality of life for mature adults) at Macy's, 6600 Menaul NW in Albuquerque on Wednesday, January 30 at 10:30am.

February 29-March 2, 2008:
Avenging Victorio will be featured at the 20th Annual National Fiery-Foods & Barbecue Show in Albuquerque, NM at the Sandia Casino. LPD Press/Rio Grande Books will have a booth at the show and author Dave DeWitt will be signing at the show all day all three days.

March 26, 2008:
Avenging Victorio will be featured at the Rockhound State Park in Deming, NM. Dave DeWitt will give a talk followed by a book signing at 10:30am.

December 22, 2007:
Dave DeWitt had a book signing for Avenging Victorio at Borders at Cottonwood Crossing, 10420 Coors Bypass NW in Albuquerque on Saturday, October 27 at 3pm.

December 13, 2007:
Dave DeWitt had a talk and reading at the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum in Las Cruces. It will be followed by a book signing for Avenging Victorio. The talk begins at 7pm and it is free.

December 8, 2007:
Avenging Victorio was featured at the St. John's Cathedral Holiday Book Fair at 318 Silver SW in Albuquerque, NM from 10am to 4pm. Dave DeWitt will be having a book signing from 11am to 12noon.

November-December 2007:
Avenging Victorio was featured in the Mountains & Plains Independent Booksellers Association Winter Catalog; 500,000 catalogs were inserted in regional newspapers in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming. Bookstores in the region distributed the Winter Catalog in their stores starting in October.

November 29, 2007:
Dave DeWitt had a book signing for Avenging Victorio at the Best of Albuquerque Party hosted by Albuquerque The Magazine. The signing will be at the booth for Borders, which has been named the best bookstore in Albuquerque for the second year. The event will be at the Santa Ana Casino starting at 6pm.

November 2007:
Dave DeWitt was the featured Author of the Month for November at MyShelf.com.

October 27, 2007:

Avenging Victorio was displayed in the Publishers Marketing Association staffed exhibit at the New Atlantic Independent Booksellers Association meeting at the Sheraton Baltmiore City Center in Baltimore, MD.

October 11, 2007:
Dave DeWitt had a book signing for Avenging Victorio at Treasure House at 2012 S. Plaza NW in Old Town Albuquerque on Thursday, October 11 from 12 noon to 2pm.

Avenging Victorio was displayed in the Publishers Marketing Association staffed exhibit at the Midwest Booksellers Association meeting at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis, MN.

Avenging Victorio was displayed in the Publishers Marketing Association staffed exhibit at the Northern California Independent Booksellers Association meeting at the Oakland Convention Center in Oakland, CA.

October 4, 2007
Avenging Victorio was named as a finalist in the New Mexico Book Awards. It is one of the best historical fictions books in the awards program.

October 2007:
Avenging Victorio was highlighted in True West Magazine in the October issue, which will be on newsstands on September 25. The rave review notes: "This swiftly moving tale of death and revenge has long needed to be told." The complete review is available at True West.

September 28-29, 2007
Avenging Victorio was featured in the Mountain & Plains Independent Booksellers Association Winter Catalog and at the MPIBA Fall Trade Show in Denver, CO. LPD Press/Rio Grande Books will have a booth at the MPIBA show showcasing Avenging Victorio as well as several other new books. Copies of the book will be given out at the show. 10,000 copies of the Winter Catalog will be distributed at the Fall Convention in Denver. Avenging Victorio will also be displayed in the Publishers Marketing Association staffed exhibit.

September 19-21, 2007
Avenging Victorio was displayed in the Publishers Marketing Association staffed exhibit at the Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association meeting at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue, WA.

September 15, 2007:

September 10, 2007:
Dave DeWitt was a guest on the TJ Trout show on KRZZ Radio (94.1) in Albuquerque on Monday, September 10.

August 27, 2007:
Avenging Victorio was featured in the August 27, 2007 issue of Publishers Weekly in the Titles from the Independent Press Fall Announcement on page 4.

August 18, 2007:
Dave DeWitt was one of the featured authors doing book signings for Avenging Victorio at Indian Market, which was on the Santa Fe Plaza (Book Tent) on Saturday, August 18 from 2-3pm. Avenging Victorio was also featured in the SWAIA Indian Market Official Guide and in the Santa fe New Mexican.



August 10-11, 2007:
LPD Press/Rio Grande Books had a booth at the Pecos Southwestern Archaeology Conference in Pecos, NM on Friday August 10 and Saturday August 11; Avenging Victorio was one of the featured books at the show. The show is sponsored by the Pecos National Historical Park, the Museum of Indian Arts & Culture, National Park Service, US Forest Service, The New Mexico State Historic Preservation Division, and the School for Advanced Research (SAR).



August 9, 2007:

August 3-5, 2007:
Avenging Victorio was showcased at The Great Southwestern Antique Show at the Albuquerque, NM Convention Center. LPD Press/Rio Grande Books had a booth at the show displaying several new books. The show was Friday, August 3 from 2-7pm, Saturday, August 4 from 9am to 5pm, and Sunday, August 5 from 10am to 4pm. Avenging Victorio was displayed among some of the finest historic southwestern pots, textiles and baskets.
